After your wallet has been generated, you’ll need to transfer APT tokens to the wallet’s address to pay the network fee before you can start tickling the Tapos Cat. (A total of 0.1 APT is enough for you to tickle the cat approximately 10,000 times!)

Despite these high transaction numbers, there wasn't a notable increase in the number of active users on the Aptos network, suggesting that the spike in transactions was primarily driven by existing users engaging heavily with the Tapos game.

Inspired by the successful Telegram-based clicker game Notcoin, Tapos also records each interaction on the blockchain, contrasting with Notcoin’s model in which only token transactions are on-chain. Despite its success in transaction volume, Tapos hasn’t yet matched Notcoin’s player base or its broader impact on the gaming and crypto communities.
